Overview
E-file transcripts are PDF reports that summarise tax return information for filing authorisation and signature. TaxLab offers two options to customise these reports to match your organisation’s branding preferences.
Branded reports
You can add basic branding to our default theme including some or all of the following:
- Your logo in PNG format
- Custom disclaimer wording
- Inland Revenue Privacy Statement wording
- Partner signature box
- Branded cover and/or back page, provided as two separate documents.
- Font styles, colours, and sizes (please provide a style guide specifying the fonts and details).
Note: Fonts must be selected from the standard Microsoft font list; firm specific fonts requiring installation cannot be used.
Customised reports
Your organisation may choose to use fully customised reports. These are managed by your Administrator or another nominated contact. Any changes should be coordinated through them, as modifications will apply to all users in your organisation.
When the Microsoft Word templates have been updated, your Administrator or nominated contact can work with TaxLab Support to apply the changes in TaxLab.
Customised reports require ongoing commitment and technical expertise.
To manage these reports, your organisation must have:
- An advanced understanding of Microsoft Word, including style sheets and custom merge fields.
- A process for maintaining, updating, and testing the templates each year.
TaxLab does not provide support for maintaining or testing customised templates.
