All users who have access to the entity can review the accounts.
On the Trial balance page, in the Review column, you can see at a glance if there are any notes, file attachments or open queries for an account. You can also quickly identify the workpapers in which formulas have been used. The system uses a colour code to let you know if anything needs to be reviewed.
Colour | Meaning |
Grey | There is nothing to review. The account has no notes, files or queries, and the workpaper has no formulas. |
Blue | There is something to review. A user may have added a note or attached a file to the account, closed a query that was posted to the account, or added a formula to the workpaper. |
Orange | There is something to review. There is an open query for the account that needs to be addressed and closed. |
Rather than go through the full list of accounts in the trial balance, you may find it easier to conduct your review from the Workpapers tab > Workpapers page. This page displays a list of only the accounts in which a workpaper, note, file, query or formula has been added.
Similarly, to quickly see a list of all of the files that have been uploaded against the entity, click the Files tab in the top menu.
On the Tax Position page, you may also want to review the Statement of Taxable Income, which is available in different formats for analysis purposes.
When your review is complete you can proceed to sign off the accounts.
